NDO – An exhibition named ‘Rediscovering memories’ officially opened at the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City on March 21, as part of the activities to celebrate the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975).

The exhibition showcases 250 photos, documentaries and artifacts, which are divided into four contents: "Facing B-52", "Hilton Hotel - Hanoi", "Return Day", "Building the future". The exhibition provides the public with a more clear insight into the war and stories of people returning from battle.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Head of the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison, said the exhibition "Recovering memories", which was held at the Hoa Lo prison historical relic site in Hanoi in 2017, was voted as one of ten typical cultural events of Hanoi.

On this occasion of organising the event in Ho Chi Minh City, the organising board is continuing to provide photos, documents and historical artifacts to the public on a part of the life of the people of Hanoi in 1972 and the efforts to overcome the war consequences of the two peoples of Vietnam and the US.

The exhibition runs until May, 2019
