It is regulated by Vietnam law. All foreign production companies, movies studios or TV channels who wish to film in Vietnam must apply for film permit to Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs
It benefits you. Our office will assign at least one film officer/government minder to work closely with your crew to finalize filming plan and to process all needed procedures. Following documents are required: Press Request Form, purpose or synopsis of the shoot, daily shooting schedule, list of equipment, copy of passport.
We also inform local authorities of all shooting locations about the filming. It makes the filming go smoothly. On behalf of the crew, our officer applies for drone permit to Ministry of Defense. Your drone operator needs to provide our officer locations where you want to have drone flight and when you fly it.
One note is that after all submission, it takes at least 7-10 working days to grant all needed permits.
